Rush Township appointed a supervisor Thursday to fill a vacancy created by the departure of former supervisor Robert Leibensperger.

Ed Titus was appointed, but did not attend the meeting.

Leibensperger’s last day of service was Dec. 31 and he had two years remaining in his term.

Titus’s appointment was approved unanimously by George Gerhard and vice Chairman James Stewart.
