Crashes

A motorist was hurt when his vehicle crashed into a pole along Saint Peters Road, Upper Milford Township, 5:29 a.m. Dec. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was eastbound in the 7600 block of Saint Peters Road when he lost control of his vehicle due to the ice on the road, according to authorities. The vehicle went off the road and hit the utility pole. After the vehicle struck the pole, “the utility pole broke in half,” according to a press release from state police. Macungie Ambulance personnel also responded to the crash.

A motorist and his two passengers escaped injury when their vehicle toppled onto its side in a crash along School House Lane, Lower Milford Township, 11:40 p.m. Dec. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle hit a wall in the 7400 block of School House Lane before flipping onto its side, according to authorities.
