Peepsfest drops for two days on New Year’s fun at SteelStacks

ArtsQuest and Just Born Quality Confections presents Peepsfest, from 3 to 6 p.m. today and Wednesday at SteelStacks, Bethlehem. Attendees may enter at 3:45 p.m.

Events concludes with a 400-pound Peeps Chick Drop at 5:35 p.m., followed by a fireworks display, each day.

There will be music, games, crafts by area non-profit groups and creative activities indoors and outdoors.

Children can make friendship bracelets at the PBS39 Experience at Peepsfest, learn new recipes from Peeps in The Kitchen with Chef Julie of Levy Restaurants and watch science and nature shows from the Da Vinci Science Center and the Wildlands Conservancy.

There will be character performances and meet-and-greets.

Children age 12 and under will receive a free Peeps tote bag to fill with goodies at the event.

The Sensory-Friendly Space at PBS39 presented by Good Shepherd Rehabilitation is provided for those with sensory sensitivities.

Peeps products will be available for purchase, including candy and Peepsfest visors.
