State police at Fogelsville - crashes

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Francis Oran, 27, of Allentown, and Christopher Lora, 24, of Allentown, had suspected minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 12:05 p.m. on Nov. 26 on Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township.

Police said Oran refused an emergency medical services transport from the scene, while Lora was transported by personnel from the Macungie Ambulance Corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Campus, Salisbury Township.

They said the crash occurred when Oran was driving a 2017 Ford Fusion that entered the lane of travel on Hamilton Boulevard without proper clearance, resulting in the Fusion being struck by a 2010 Ford Explorer operated by Michael Rehrig, 53, of Germansville. Lora was a passenger in the Fusion.

Police said both vehicles had disabling damage.

Oran was cited after the crash, according to police.

• No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 6:25 a.m. on Nov. 21 on Route 100 in Lowhill Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Benjamin S. Vaka, 18, of Orefield, was driving a 2020 Toyota 4Runner when he attempted to make a left turn from Orchard Road.

The 4Runner was subsequently hit by a 2018 BMW driven by German D. Maximo, 38, of Hazle Township, police said.

Maximo was cited for driving while his operating license is suspended or revoked, according to police.
