State police at Frackville - crashes

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Leonard B. Broughton Jr., 44, of Hazle Township, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 11:35 p.m. Nov. 4 on Claremont Avenue (Route 309) in Rush Township.

Police said he was operating a 2019 Maserati southbound when it struck a deer that entered its lane of traffic. The car was towed from the scene.

• Robert P. Beltrandi, 61, of Olyphant, was uninjured when the car he was driving struck a deer on Interstate 81 in Cass Township.

The 2025 Nissan Sentra was northbound when the deer entered its lane of travel. The car had disabling damages.

• Jordan Spataccino, 31, of Pottstown, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 12:21 a.m. Oct. 30 on Summer Valley Road (Route 895) in East Brunswick Township. He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2005 Ford F-350 northbound when he lost control of it. The truck traveled off the northbound land and struck an embankment before overturning and coming to rest in the northbound lane.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
