State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 29-year-old woman from Weissport was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic disturbance at 1:22 p.m. Nov. 7 on White Street in Weissport.

Police reported a 27-year-old man from Weissport said the woman struck him during an altercation.

• A 46-year-old Kunkletown woman was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, after an incident at 6:23 p.m. Nov. 4 on Scenic Drive, Polk Township.

Police said she was stopped in a 2009 Buick Lacrosse for Title 75 violations after which she was taken into custody for driving with a suspended license due to a DUI-related offense.

Police said the car also had a fraudulent inspection sticker.

• Police are investigating a theft by deception incident that was reported at 2 p.m. Nov. 12.

A resident of Buskirk Lane, Eldred Township, arrived at the barracks and said an unidentified individual opened a Verizon Wireless account using his information.

• Police said two headstones in a cemetery at Dinkey Memorial Lutheran Church, 1742 Dinkey Road, East Penn Township, were damaged in a criminal mischief incident that was reported at 5 p.m. Nov. 8.

They said a vehicle damaged the stones labeled “Rex” and “Shaffer,” causing an estimated $500 in damage.

• Pacey Giamoni, 25, of Palmerton, is facing drug possession charges after a traffic stop at 4:32 p.m. Oct. 25, police said.

She was stopped in a 2002 Chrysler Sebring for Title 75 violations in the 1200 block of Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East, Mahoning Township, after which she was found to be in possession of illegal contraband, according to police.

• A 24-year-old Palmerton woman is the victim of a criminal mischief incident reported to police at 6 p.m. Nov. 12.

The incident occurred on Little Gap Road, Lower Towamensing Township. The woman reported three of the four tires on her 2013 Honda Pilot were slashed and her rear windshield wiper was broken.
