State police at the Pocono barracks reported minor injuries in a crash on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Shelby A. Contois, 18, of Hunlock Creek, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:23 a.m. Nov. 17 at mile marker 96.2 in Kidder Township.

Police said she did not require an emergency medical services transport from the scene.

They said she was driving a 2016 Jeep Compass northbound when it failed to stop in time for slowed traffic ahead of it. Police said the Compass struck the rear of a 2024 Toyota Camry driven by Tomasz Maciorowski, 34, of East Stroudsburg. He was uninjured in the incident.
