Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel moves on Monday:

Retirement: Melissa DeSocio, certified school nurse, Northern Lehigh High School, effective the end of the work day March 20, after 22.5 years of service.

Appointments: Kayla Diehl, guidance counselor, Northern Lehigh Middle School, $66,575 prorated, effective Oct. 27; Chelsea Heller, special education paraprofessional, Slatington Elementary School, $17.99 per hour, effective on or about Nov. 24; Kathleen Riedlinger, special education paraprofessional, Slatington Elementary School, $17.99 per hour, effective on or about Nov. 25.

Cocurricular volunteers: Megan Peters, band booster parent volunteer, Sarah Krasenics, musical theater parent volunteer, Doug Hunsicker, musical theater parent volunteer, 2025-26 school year.

Other: Approved Superintendent Dr. Matthew J. Link to appoint qualified personnel to vacant positions from Nov. 10 through the next regularly scheduled board meeting.
