State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following crashes:
• No one was injured in as two-vehicle crash at 7:06 a.m. Oct. 21 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.
Police said the crash occurred as a 17-year-old girl from Saylorsburg was driving a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe when she merged onto an on-ramp and another vehicle merged in front of her vehicle at an unsafe speed. Police said she applied her brakes and the Santa Fe was hit by a 2024 Ford F-550 operated by Ismael G. Chanona, 34, of Swiftwater.
• Injuries were averted in a two-vehicle crash at 11 a.m. Oct. 1 on Interstate 80 in Hamilton Township.
Police said the crash occurred when an unknown vehicle traveling east made a lane change, struck a 2019 Honda Passport operated by Joseph R. Meyer, 40, of Webster, New York, and fled the scene.
Police said the Passport had functional damage and was able to be driven from the scene.
• Katy V. Goldwire, 37, of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, had suspected minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 7:45 a.m. Sept. 29 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.
Police said she was transported to an area hospital by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps.
They said the crash occurred as Michael D. Fleming, 56, of Mount Bethel, was driving a 2019 Mack Truck northbound when he attempted to change lanes to allow another vehicle to merge and the truck hit a 2014 Toyota Sienna driven by Goldwire. The Toyota then struck a concrete barrier in the median and came to an uncontrolled stop.
