Police say man threatened wife over custody issue

A Saylorsburg man has been charged with threatening to shoot his wife over a custody issue.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by Trooper Gary Fedorczyk of the Pennsylvania State Police, Fern Ridge barracks, in the case against Alek Cramer:

At 6:08 p.m. Oct. 28, Fedorczyk was dispatched to a home in the 300 block of Kennel Road for a husband and wife custody issue.

Upon arrival, Fedorczyk spoke with the wife, who said that she came to the residence to check on her son when she and her husband, Cramer, 30, engaged in an argument.

The woman further alleged that during the course of the argument, Cramer pushed her against a car, punched her in the forearm and brandished a handgun and said, “I will shoot you,” before going back into the house.

Cramer was taken into custody at the scene and transported back to the state police barracks without incident.

Cramer faces charges of terrorist threats and harassment. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bail, and scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Thursday before District Judge Colleen Mancuso of Brodheadsville.
