Hoffman, Koehler shine at Misericordia

Two former Palmerton field hockey standouts are helping lead Misericordia University to its best start in several years. Celeste Hofmann and Skylar Koehler, both sophomores for the Lady Cougars, are key reasons Misericordia is off to an 9–2 start to the season.

Hofmann plays on offense and has scored seven goals, has a shot-on-goal percentage of 72.2%, and has three game-winning goals. All three of those categories lead the Misericordia team.

Koehler is a defensive star for the Lady Cougars, and has started all 11 games, helping Misericordia already record five shut-outs and hold its opponents to an average of just 1.2 goals per game.
