Fauzio reaches the end zone on runs of six and two yards and also returns an interception 22 yards for a TD. Bobby Coombe helps the winners take an early 19-0 first-quarter advantage with his 21-yard scoring burst and his 50-yard punt return for a touchdown. The Nesquers, coached by Tony Mezza, also receive TD runs of 45 yards by Nick Rose, 39 yards by Bobby Higgins and five yards by Tommy Coombe. The defense allows just 34 total yards and picks off five passes.
