State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 34-year-old Kunkletown man is the victim of a theft incident reported to police at 3:35 p.m. Sept. 11.

Police said he reported someone picking up miscellaneous construction and power tools valued at $625.48 in his name at Sport Hill, Reilly Township.

• A 17-year-old Kaska boy was charged with strangulation after police were called to Grand Street, Port Carbon, at 6:28 p.m. Sept. 17.

Police said the victim is a 37-year-old woman from Lehighton.

They said they were dispatched to the site for a report of an assault and were met by the woman and the mother of the suspect.

They said the investigation revealed the juvenile son of the victim’s girlfriend engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical.
