State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police said drugs were found on the road of Centre Street in Parryville.

The discovery was reported at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 26.

• Police are investigating the theft of a motorcycle that was reported at 2:20 p.m. Sept. 10.

A Kresgeville man told police a blue Suzuki was stolen from a locked storage container at 8726 E. Nottingham Drive, Polk Township, sometime between 2019 and the present.

• A 45-year-old man from Las Vegas, Nevada, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 2:21 a.m. Sept. 27.

He was stopped in a 2025 Hyundai for a Motor Vehicle Code violation on Spruce Street in Mahoning Township.

• A 45-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were arrested after police said they physically assaulted and harassed each other during a domestic dispute in their common residence at 5:47 p.m. Sept. 21.

Police said a 1989 Chevrolet and a 2004 Ford Expedition were involved in the altercation.

• Police are investigating a burglary that was reported at 3:08 p.m. Sept. 27.

It occurred at 237 Gower Road, Eldred Township.

A Kunkletown man reported someone entered an abandoned/condemned residence within the last four weeks, possibly through a broken window, and stole an empty safe.

Police said the safe is estimated to be worth $50.

They said a canvass of the heavily wooded area around the home yielded no results.

• A 16-year-old Pen Argyl boy was charged with terroristic threats after an incident at 1:45 p.m. July 2 on Woodland Drive, Ross Township.

A 60-year-old man from Saylorsburg told police he was walking along his property when a white pickup truck approached him from the opposite direction. The man said he made a hand gesture toward the truck as it passed him, after which the truck stopped. The man said he approached the driver’s side window of the truck and words were exchanged between him and the driver. The man told police the incident escalated when the boy made threatening statement towards him.

• Police responded to a suspicious person report at 7:22 p.m. Sept. 28 in the area of Hatchery and Hell Yellow roads in Penn Forest Township, but said a canvass of the area yielded no results.

• Police said a 58-year-old Jim Thorpe woman is the victim of a Protection From Abuse court order violation that occurred at 3:58 p.m. Sept. 26.

She told police the suspect who has the order against him was scene on the road near the victim’s residence and then fled.
