Police said she was driving a 2015 Lexus westbound when it struck the rear of a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek operated by Laurel E. Shorts, 64, of Walnutport, pushing it into a 2011 Subaru Forester driven by Chase N. Newhard, 20, of Whitehall.

Police said they were transported by the Cetronia Ambulance Corps to an area hospital for evaluations.
They said the crash occurred as Deborah Z. Zosky, 71, of Orefield, was driving a 2019 Audi northbound when she turned across the southbound lane and struck head-on a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer driven by Lloyd. McAvoy was a passenger in the Mountaineer.
