One person is dead as the result of a fiery one-vehicle crash Friday night in Kidder Township.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m. about a mile west of the intersection with Moseywood Road.

The victim was traveling west on Route 940 and lost control, crossing the roadway entering and hitting a tree, then burst into flames.

Kidder Township Police are investigating the incident.
