State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• Mica Kincaid, 62, of Weissport, is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 12:57 p.m. Sept. 18.

Police said he was stopped on a 1996 Harley-Davidson for Title 75 violations in the 1800 block of Catasauqua Road, Hanover Township, after which they determined he was driving in an impaired state.

• A 65-year-old man from Schnecksville is the victim of a theft by deception incident police responded to at 11:49 a.m. Sept. 18 on Route 873 in North Whitehall Township.

He told police he was scammed online out of approximately $500 through Apple Pay due to a false advertisement for a Sirius XM radio subscription.

• Two staff members at KidsPeace, North Whitehall Township, were injured as a result of an altercation with a juvenile at the facility.

Police were called to the Marconi House at the complex at 4:20 a.m. Sept. 14 after which the staffers were transported to the emergency room of the St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. They said a 23-year-old Nazareth man had a fractured right ankle and a 29-year-old Weissport man had a concussion after he was head-butted in the altercation with a 13-year-old boy from Orefield who is a client at the center.

Police said the Nazareth man will be unable to work for an extended period of time, pending recovery. They said the Weissport man did not wish to cooperate with police in their investigation.

The teen has been cited for assault/bodily injury, police said.

• An 82-year-old Slatington woman who was reported missing from her residence was reunited with her family following the incident at 8:33 p.m. Sept. 12.

Police said Lucille Lear had walked away from her residence but was relocated after an extensive search.

• A 33-year-old Slatington man was charged with violating a Protection From Abuse court order after police were called to Mountain Road, Heidelberg Township, at 9:27 a.m. Aug. 19.

A 30-year-old woman from Germansville told police the man had been mailing multiple unwanted letters to her.

• Piefka Stonewall, 29, of Northampton, was charged with violating a Protection From Abuse court order after police were called to a residence on Heidelberg Heights Road, Heidelberg Township, at 9 a.m. Sept. 8.

Police said the victim is a 26-year-old woman from Germansville.

• A 36-year-old woman from Slatington and a 31-year-old woman from Palmerton were cited for simple harassment after police were called to the Catasauqua High School in Allen Township at 5:58 p.m. Aug. 25.

Police said they were involved in a physical altercation with each other that left both of them injured.
