The Slatington History Preservation Committee will hold a multi-media presentation titled, “Slatedale: A country village at the base of the Blue Mountain” on Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Vigilant Fire Company, 110 S. Walnut St. in Slaington. The history presentation will explore the buildings, businesses and prominent individuals who contributed to the village of Slatedale’s prosperity. The event is free.
