State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police responded to a shoplifting (retail theft) incident at 5:48 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Giant Shopping Center, 3578 Route 611, Hamilton Township.

They said a suspect stole approximately $150 in merchandise.

• A 42-year-old Tamaqua man is the victim of a criminal mischief incident police were called to at 12:40 p.m. Sept. 10 on Forest Lane, Price Township.

He told police that someone threw a rock at his truck bed’s cover, causing an estimated $250 in damage.

• Richard Getz, 57, of Kunkletown, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 5:45 p.m. Aug. 31.

He was stopped on a 2001 Yamaha in the 800 block of Faulstick Road, Hamilton Township, according to police.
