State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:
• A Tamaqua woman is the victim of a forgery/counterfeiting incident reported in Walker Township.
She told police a check she mailed to a company in Philadelphia to purchase items for her business was intercepted between Aug. 21 and 26.
The name of the payee was changed and the check was cashed, she told police. It was in the amount of $29,576.74.
• A 38-year-old Allentown woman was cited on two counts of harassment by physical contact after police responded to an incident on Second Street in Coaldale at 10:25 p.m. Sept. 10.
The victims are a 36-year-old man from Summit Hill and a 24-year-old woman from Lansford.
Police said they were called to a residence on Second Street for a report of a woman refusing to leave the premises.
Upon arrival, police were told by the 36-year-old man that the suspect refused to leave the home. He said that while he attempted to get her to leave, she shoved him to the ground. The 24-year-old woman told police the suspect scratched her.
