State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 41-year-old Tamaqua man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol following an incident at 8:47 p.m. Aug. 10 on Route 309 in Lynn Township.
Police said they were called to the site for a report of a disabled vehicle and determined a 2018 Volkswagen ran out of gas. They said a short time later the Tamaqua man returned to the car, at which time police placed him under arrest for suspicion of drunken driving.
• Police received a bad checks report from an in-lobby complainant at 9:42 a.m. May 16.
They said multiple checks of PA Lawn and Landscape were altered and submitted to the complainant’s bank on Weidasville Road, Lowhill Township.
• A 56-year-old Schnecksville man is the victim of a theft by deception incident police were called to at noon July 25 on Buck Hill Circle, Lowhill Township.
Police said he reported his identity was used to open a credit card through Citibank and the card was then used to purchase $3,499 worth of items.
• Police are investigating the theft of Pennsylvania inspection stickers. It occurred between June 24 and 3:52 p.m. Aug. 13 on Route 100, Lowhill Township.
The victim is Kressley’s Auto & Truck Sales, Orefield.
