Rush Township emergency personnel were dispatched Wednesday afternoon to a motor vehicle crash along Route 309.

The incident occurred just after 4 p.m. in the intersection with Grove Road and the southbound lanes of Route 309 involving a car and a sport utility vehicle. The Hometown fire company responded maintaining traffic control at the scene. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
