Police in Lehigh Township are investigating an armed robbery that happened at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Cherryville Vape and Cigar Shop, 4209 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville.

Township police said five black males entered the store displaying three handguns and made off with cash and merchandise.

The incident remains under investigation.

Responding with township police were Bushkill Township, Moore Township and Walnutport police, as well as a state police forensic services unit and K-9 dogs and officers from Slate Belt Regional and Northampton Borough police.
