A 32-year-old Philadelphia woman told police she was held against her will at a property in Schuylkill County and raped over the course of two days, state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said.
Police said a 54-year-old Philadelphia man, who fled the scene but was later contacted by police, went to their barracks and cooperated with the investigation.
The incidents, reported at 12:36 p.m. Aug. 19, occurred at a residence on Well Drive in Barry Township, the woman told police.
The woman contacted a family member about the incidents, and upon learning of the contact, the man took the woman’s cellphone and fled the residence, police said.
A warrant to search the residence was obtained, according to police, who not say if charges against the man had been filed.
They did say the investigation was ongoing.
