The Tamaqua Police Department assisted the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Drug Task Force in executing two simultaneous search warrants in the boroughs of Coaldale and New Philadelphia at 6 a.m. Friday.

The coordinated raids are part of an ongoing investigation targeting illegal drug activity in the region.

The operation was conducted with support from the Pennsylvania State Police CERT Team and the Carbon County Drug Task Force.

The multi-agency effort underscores a shared commitment to combating narcotics distribution and enhancing public safety across Schuylkill and Carbon counties.

Further criminal charges are expected as the investigation continues, Tamaqua police said.
