State police at the Frackville barracks responded to a crash on Aug. 1 in Kline Township.

Police said Jules Morgan, 56, of Bath, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive at a safe speed following a one-vehicle crash at 6:15 p.m. Aug. 1 on Interstate 81 in Kline Township.

Morgan was driving a 2013 Dodge Caravan southbound when it went out of control. Police said the vehicle veered to the right, crossed the right lane and traveled onto the west shoulder before crossing both travel lanes and entering the east shoulder. It then crossed both lanes a second time, striking a guide rail on the west shoulder of the road.

He was uninjured in the crash.
