State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police are investigating an indecent exposure report at the State Correctional Institution — Frackville, Altamont Boulevard, Ryan Township.

They were called there at 11:22 a.m. July 22 when a 22-year-old inmate from Loysville alleged sexual misconduct by another inmate.

• Police are investigating the theft of a 2017 Kawasaki dirt bike from a property on Royer Street in New Ringgold.

A 17-year-old New Ringgold boy said that between 12:30 and 2:30 a.m. July 10 someone took the dirt bike from his front yard and fled.

• A 49-year-old New Ringgold man was charged with making terroristic threats after police responded to an incident at 11:19 a.m. July 5 on South Market Street in East Brunswick Township. Police said he attempted to force entry into a home. Listed as victims are three women, ages 44, 67 and 69, all from New Ringgold; a 56-year-old New Philadelphia man; and a 66-year-old Orwigsburg man.

Police said that while attempting to locate the suspect, stolen property was found on the property where he resides.

• Police responded to a criminal mischief incident at 6:33 p.m. July 15 at the intersection of Mining Road and Route 209 in Walker Township.

They said the victims reported a ceramic cup was thrown from a vehicle and struck the windshield of two other vehicles.

• A 41-year-old New Philadelphia man was cited for a Dog Law violation after an altercation involving two dogs at 6:44 p.m. July 13 in Valley Street in New Philadelphia.

Police said the man’s dog dug a hole under a fence to get into the yard of a 57-year-old man, resulting in the dogs fighting.

Police said the suspect failed to produce proof of his dog’s vaccinations.

• Police said a 46-year-old Coaldale woman reported a harassment incident at 11:06 a.m. July 5 on West Ridge Street in Coaldale.

She told police she received unwanted text messages from multiple numbers and believes they were sent by two people with whom she had previously had romantic relationships.

• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident reported at 9:11 p.m. June 24 in East Phillips Street in Coaldale.

Victims are two men, ages 41 and 42, and a 41-year-old woman, all from Coaldale.

Police said a suspect arrived at the above location and started causing a disturbance before damaging figurines/statues and two vehicles, a 2006 Nissan Frontier and a 2020 Hyundai Tucson.

Damage to the statues was estimated at $210, and damage to the Tucson was listed at $1,554.05, police said. No estimate on the damage to the Frontier was reported.

• Police said a woman, who was not named, is facing simple trespass charges after they were called to a store on Barnesville Drive, Ryan Township, at 7:15 p.m. July 15.

Police said they were called after the woman entered the store despited being previously told not to return there.

• Police said a 17-year-old girl from Coaldale is the victim of a rape incident they were summoned to investigate at 3:37 p.m. July 9 on Sixth Street in Coaldale.

They said it was determined the girl sexually assault by a male juvenile.

• Police were called to an indecent exposure incident at the Schuylkill Correctional Institute, Altamont Boulevard, Ryan Township.

They said the victim is a 59-year-old man from Frackville.

Police said an inmate at the facility alleged sexual misconduct against a staff member earlier this year.

• Police were called to a statutory rape/sexual assault report at the Schuylkill Correctional Institute, Altamont Boulevard, Ryan Township.

They said the allegation is regarding the Prison Rape Elimination Act in which the victim is a 31-year-old man from Frackville. The incident occurred on Oct. 23, 2023, police said.

• Police said a 15-year-old girl from Mahanoy City is the victim of a statutory rape/sexual assault incident reported at 2:30 a.m. July 6 to Paramount Boulevard, West Brunswick Township.

They said the girl reported she had nonconsensual sex with an adult.

• Andrew Pizzo, 34, of Barnesville, was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to a noise complaint at 11:13 p.m. July 12 at 23 Circle Drive, Ryan Township.

Police said he was playing loud music through a large speaker in his driveway.
