State police at Fogelsville - crashes
State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following crashes:
• Police said Liz M. Vasquez-Cabrera, 21, of Allentown, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 7:23 p.m. July 1 on Route 309 in Lynn Township. She was uninjured in the incident.
Police said she was driving a 2015 Subaru Legacy southbound and was traveling too fast for wet conditions. They said the car slid off the right side of the road and hit a guide rail.
The Subaru had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
• No one was injured in a three-vehicle crash at 1:50 p.m. July 8 at the intersection of Route 100 and Kernsville Road, Lowhill Township.
Police said the crash occurred when a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by Dena M. Ruege, 44, of Allentown, hit the back of a 2016 Chevrolet Spark operated by Jacquelyn E. Leibenguth, 60, of New Tripoli, pushing it into a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse operated by Sheila M. Scartelli, 61, also of New Tripoli.
• Angel L. Robles, 53, of Slatington, was injured after a motorcycle crash at 4:08 a.m. July 11 on Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township.
Police said he was transported by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance Corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.
Police said he was operating a 2018 Indian Scout westbound when he lost control of the motorcycle, which fell onto its side. The motorcycle came to rest on the shoulder of the road and was removed from the scene.
Robles was cited after the crash, according to police.
• Patricia D. Weiss, 62, of Bethlehem, had minor injuries after a one-vehicle crash at 5:38 p.m. July 17 on Skytop Court, Lowhill Township.
Police said she did not require an emergency medical services transport from the scene.
They said she was driving a 2011 Toyota Land Cruiser that left the roadway and struck a brick mailbox along Skytop Court. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
