State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Terry L. Hill Jr., 27, of Pottsville, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a two-vehicle crash at 8:09 p.m. July 15 on Market Street (Route 209) in Blythe Township.

Police said he was driving a 2011 Subaru Forester east on Market Street and was using a handheld device while driving when the vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and struck a 2004 Chevrolet Impala driven by Bernard V. Babinetz Jr., 65, of Pottsville.

Police said Babinetz had minor injuries but did not require a medical services transport from the scene. Hill was uninjured.

Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Hill was also cited for unsafe driving.

• Police were called to a hit-and-run incident at 11:47 a.m. July 8 on Water Street in Blythe Township. They said a vehicle hit the driver’s side mirror and door of a 2004 Audi that was parked on the northern side of the street.

• Bailee L. Johnson, 19, of Auburn, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 1:12 p.m. July 6 on Keystone Boulevard, Cass Township. She was uninjured in the incident.

Police said she was driving a 2019 Hyundai Kona that traveled off the eastbound lane when she became distracted. They said the front and rear tires of the vehicle hit the curb. The vehicle traveled down a grass embankment. It was towed from the scene.
