State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 37-year-old Coaldale man is the victim of a theft by deception incident police were called to on West Ridge Street in Coaldale.

Between May 26 and 30, fraudulent charges were made on the man’s debit card, police said.

• A report of a theft of a firearm in Coaldale was labeled unfounded by police after the complainant revealed that she found it under a couch in the premises in which she was staying.

Police were called to West High Street when a 46-year-old woman reported her Walther Model PK 380 pistol was stolen between 6 p.m. June 24 and 5 p.m. June 27, but the case was closed after the pistol was found.
