The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following roadwork is scheduled this week:

Carbon County

• Nesquehoning: Route 209 between routes 93 and 54, lane restriction, paving, Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Towamensing Township: Spruce Hollow Road between Route 209 and Pohopoco Drive, lane restriction Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lehigh County

• Interstate 78 between Exit 55 (Route 29) And Northampton County Line, nighttime lane restrictions. Expect delays and please use caution driving through the work zone, through Wednesday, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

• Interstate 78 West Between: Exit 67 (Route 412) And Exit 60A / 60B (Route 309), Lane restrictions each night. Expect delays and use caution driving through the work zone, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday.

• Interstate 78 West between: Exit 67 (PA 412) And Exit 60A / 60B (PA 309: Construction

work, lane restriction for concrete patching. Expect delays and please use caution driving through the work zone, 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. through Thursday

Monroe County

• Eldred Township: Kunkletown Road, between: Silver Springs and Fiddletown Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday.

• Polk Township: Beltzville Road between Route 534 and county line, pothole Patching 7 to 3 p.m. Monday.

• Hamilton/Jackson Townships, Neola Road bridge repair between Green View Drive and Neola Church Road/Twin Pine Road, now through Aug. 15.

Schuylkill County

Blythe Township, Tumbling Run Road between Pottsville and Middleport, milling and Paving, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
