State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 27-year-old Lansford woman reported a theft to police at 10:52 p.m. June 20.

She told police she was attending the Schnecksville Carnival at 4550 Old Packhouse Road, North Whitehall Township, when the incident occurred.

She said she put her bag down under a set of stairs while she went to a first aid station to get a band aid for her daughter. When she returned, the bag was gone.

It was subsequently located under an ATM, but missing from it were a Samsung S5 smartwatch valued at $200 and a Jeep vehicle key valued at $100, police said.

• A 24-year-old Gilbert man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 1:46 a.m. June 11.

He was stopped in a 2020 Dodge Durango for traffic violations on Route 22 in the city of Bethlehem.

• A 29-year-old Saylorsburg man was charged with theft by deception after police were called to a property on Race Street in Hanover Township at 3:45 p.m. May 7.

Police said victims are CVA Plumbing/Heating/AC, Stroudsburg, and Riley Sales, Allentown.

They said the man picked up approximately $1,448.85 of HVAC supplies from the locations that were fraudulently ordered from Riley Sales.
