N. Lehigh School Board

Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following recently:

• Renewal agreement for a districtwide instructional and assessment tool, IXL subscriptions, effective Sept. 4, through Sept. 3, 2027, at a cost of $59,400 to be funded through building level budgets.

• Renew the Read 180 and Math 180 service contract for special needs students for the 2025-26 school year at a cost of $19,187, to be funded through Medical Access.

• Affiliation agreement between Northern Lehigh School District and Eastern University for a school nurse preparation program, which allows students at Eastern University to complete their practicum in the district. The agreement terminates on June 30, 2026.

• Steven Jonkman, helping teacher for George Hegedus, $800, Dylan Hofmann (year one), for Adrian Rodriguez, $800, John Prive, for Jennifer Julo, $200, and Sue Beil (one year) for Taylor Cooper, $800, in the Northern Lehigh School District Induction Program beginning in the 2025-26 school year.

• Dr. Lori Bali, Jostens Renaissance Global Conference, June 26-30, San Diego, California, with the cost of travel $140, meals $240, and other $50, for a total cost of about $290, to be funded through the superintendent’s professional development budget.

• Dr. Matthew J. Link, ERDI Summer Institute, July 15-18, Baltimore, Maryland, with the cost of meals $240, and other $50, for a total cost of about $290, to be funded through the superintendent’s professional development budget.
