Local Roundup: Results from June 7-8
Jim Thorpe gained a win over Northampton in Lehigh Valley Junior Connie Mack League action over the weekend.

Jim Thorpe rallied from an early deficit Sunday to gain a 9-4 victory over visiting Northampton.
After falling behind 4-0, the Olympians scored two runs in the fourth and then added three in the fifth to take a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.
Lucas Knopf had two hits, one a triple, for Thorpe. He also scored a run and knocked in one. The winners also received a pair of hits, a run and an RBI from Bryce McElmoyle.
The Olympians’ Dominic Calcano contributed a hit and three RBIs. Marshall Domski and Ezra Krout each scored a pair of runs.

Northern Valley jumped out to a lead on Saturday, but undefeated Lehigh Township came back to post an 8-7 victory.
Gabriel Markovitch and Calvin Kulp both collected two hits and two RBIs for the Chargers, who built a 7-2 advantage after two innings.
Evan Miller added a double, two walks and two runs in the losing effort, while Mason Malosh and Nathan Kinney both chipped in with a hit, two runs and an RBI.
Lehigh Township was led by Mason Martisofski and Dane Spengler, who both had three hits. Martisofski scored three runs, while Spengler collected three RBIs.

Lehigh Bethlehem scored 18 unanswered runs to cruise to a 21-3 victory over Palmerton.
The Bombers used a three-run first inning to force a 3-3 tie, but the winners took control after that — including a 13-run sixth that sealed the win.
Cade Serfass had three hits for Palmerton and also scored a run. Connor Walterick added an RBI single.
Lehigh Bethlehem received three hits and five runs from Jackson Ondria, while Coltin Brozino contributed three hits and four RBIs.

Forks Township remained undefeated by registering an 8-2 victory over Northern Lehigh on Saturday.
Andrei Pacheco had a hit and three RBIs for the winners, while starting pitcher Andy Ruppe tossed four scoreless, hitless inning while striking out five.
Nolehi’s Braedon Dougherty connected for a solo homer in the seventh inning, while Drew Mohrey had a double and scored a run.
Other NL hits came from Jayden Christman and Beckett Fox.
