Northern Lehigh used a pair of three-run innings to gain a Senior Connie Mack win on Friday.

Garrett Kunkle had two hits and knocked in three runs to help Northern Lehigh earn a 6-5 victory over FBTAA.

Kunkle’s two-run single in the fourth inning snapped a 3-3 tie and put the winners ahead to stay. Kunkle eventually scored on an error for an important insurance run, which proved to be the margin of victory.

Drew Mohrey added a pair of hits, while Beckett Fox and Paul Porobenski both chipped in with a hit and a run.

For FBTAA, Logan Klabunde finished 3-for-4.

Hope’s Collision-BM White

After rallying from a huge deficit to tie the game, Hope’s Collision (Tamaqua) ended up dropping a 9-8 decision to Blue Mountain White.

Mason Evans collected two hits and knocked in two runs for Hope’s, which trailed 6-0 after two innings. Ryder Holmberg had a double and two RBIs in a losing effort, while Gavin Shannon and Jeffrey Oakes each contributed a hit and a pair of runs.

Tamaqua also received a hit and a run from both Chayse Smith and Jermaine Thomas.

For Blue Mountain, which broke an 8-8 tie with a run in the bottom of the sixth, Drew Mundy had three hits while Aiden Konkus finished with two hits and three RBIs.
