State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 55-year-old Germansville woman called police to a theft incident at 3:20 p.m. May 3 on Bake Oven Road, Heidelberg Township.

Police said she reported fraudulent credit card purchases were made at several gas stations in Lehigh and Schuylkill counties. They said a family member was suspected of having have used the card without the woman’s permission.

• Desire Morley, 46, and her son, Austin, 23, both of Slatington, were cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a domestic disturbance at 5:42 p.m. May 12 at 3623 Oak Ridge Drive, Washington Township.

Police said the two were involved in a domestic argument that turned physical.

They said during the incident the mother reached for an openly carried gun on the hip of her son, after which the son pushed his mother against a wall and bit her in the right ear.

Police said both parties were separated and the gun was secured and placed out of accessibility of both the mother and son.

• Piefka Stonewall, 29, of Northampton, is facing charges of violating a Protection From Abuse court order after police were called to Heidelberg Heights Road, Heidelberg Township, at 9:04 p.m. May 2.

Police said the victim is a 25-year-old Walnutport woman.

They said an attempt to make contact with Stonewall after they received the complaint was unsuccessful.

• A 46-year-old Laurys Station woman and a 44-year-old Northampton man were cited for simple harassment after police were called to an incident at 4:38 May 4 on Cedar Street, North Whitehall Township.

Police did not provide the details of the incident but listed both as victims of the incident, as is a 63-year-old man from Bath.

• Kay Bagenstone, 83, of Orefield, called police to at 7:53 a.m. May 15 to Roth Road, North Whitehall Township.

Police said she reported someone deceived her into purchasing $300 worth of Apple gift cards.

• A 67-year-old Slatington man is facing charges of harassment by physical contact after police were called to a disturbance at 5:30 p.m. May 17 at a property on Mountain Road, Heidelberg Township.

Police said a 63-year-old man from Slatington reported he was shoved to the ground by the suspect following a verbal argument.

• Donna Kressin, 75, of Orefield, is the victim of a theft incident reported at 1:32 p.m. April 25 on Armstrong Street, North Whitehall Township.

Police said she reported a scam where someone impersonating the victim’s pastor orchestrated a scam resulting in the victim losing $748.50.

• Katlynn Golden, 29, of Allentown, was arrested for providing false identification to law enforcement after police were called to a property on Welshtown Road, Washington Township, at 9:55 a.m. May 14.

Police said they assisted the township code enforcement officer with a home inspection for eviction, when she provided police with false identification. Police said a foot pursuit ensued and it was later determined she provided the false information because there is an active arrest warrant out against her.

She was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Police were called to an endangering the welfare of a child incident at 8:15 a.m. April 22 at Education Park Drive, North Whitehall Township.

They said the case of an alleged endangerment against a 17-year-old Slatington boy is under investigation.

• Police said a 64-year-old man from Northampton is facing charges after a traffic stop they conducted at 12:45 p.m. May 21 on Route 873 in North Whitehall Township.

They said he was driving a vehicle they stopped for multiple traffic violations, after which it was determined he has an ignition interlock license and was operating the vehicle without one.

• A 64-year-old Coplay man was cited for defiant trespass after police were called to a property om Cove Road, North Whitehall Township, at 9:44 a.m. May 7.

An 87-year-old woman from Laurys Station who police the man returned to her property after having been told on a previous date that he was not welcome on the property.

• A 59-year-old Slatington man is facing drug possession charges.

Police said a 2007 Kia Sorento was involved in the incident they were summoned to at 9:35 p.m. April 26 on Chestnut Street in Slatington.
