State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Justin P. Pacheco, 21, of York, escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 1:47 p.m. May 13 on Summer Valley Road (Route 895) in East Brunswick Township.

Police said he was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Express westbound when he lost control of it while rounding a curve. The vehicle spun counterclockwise, left the road and overturned before hitting a stone wall on the south side of the road.

Police said Pacheco was able to climb out of the vehicle.

He will be cited for the incident, according to police.

• Police said a four-vehicle crash occurred as traffic was stopped for the Pacheco crash. They said a loaded tractor-trailer, a 2010 Freightliner driven by James H. Hagerty, 45, of West Chester, was unable to stop. They said he swerved to the left before the rig struck a 2024 Toyota RAV4 driven by Jennifer L. Wagner, 48, of Denver, Lancaster County, and a 2017 Volvo driven by Charles A. Worthington, 49, of New Ringgold, pushing it into the Express that Pacheco was driving.

Police said Wagner was transported to Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg, for an evaluation, while Worthington had minor injuries but did not need to be transported from the scene.

All of the vehicles were towed from the scene.

She was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Rosemary J. Kracum, 62, of Tresckow, was injured after a two-vehicle crash at 1:39 p.m. May 12 on Interstate 81 in Butler Township.

Police said she refused a medical transport from the scene.

They said she was driving a 2020 Ford F-150 that attempted to pass a 2023 Peterbilt driven by Francis J. Conway, 55, of Dunmore, when the pickup struck its rear, traveled off the roadway and crashed into a tree in the woods.

• Robert J. Smerdon, 55, of Starrucca, had possible injuries after a one-vehicle crash at 8:45 a.m. May 11 on Interstate 81 in Ryan Township.
