State police at Fogelsville
State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 48-year-old woman from Schnecksville was targeted in a theft by deception reported at 2:50 p.m. April 21 on Brighton Court, Lowhill Township.
She told police she lost $2,155 in a Facebook scam over rent.
• A 58-year-old woman from Schnecksville is the victim of a harassment by physical contact incident reported at 3:08 p.m. May 2.
Police said the domestic incident took place on Buck Hill Circle, Lowhill Township.
• A 55-year-old woman from Kempton was cited for simple harassment after police were called to an inactive domestic incident at 6:17 p.m. May 11 on Zimmerman Road, Lynn Township.
Police said the incident involved a 56-year-old man from Kempton. Interviews were conducted on the scene and both parties were separated.
• Police were called to investigate a theft by disposition of funds incident at 4 p.m. May 22 at a property on Springhouse Road, Lynn Township.
They said a man reported approximately $1,000 was taken out of his bank account by an unknown person.
• No one was injured when a piece of metal flew off a tractor-trailer and struck a vehicle at 7:17 a.m. May 14 on Route 22 eastbound in South Whitehall Township.
Police said Barry R. Clipner, 59, of Huntingdon Valley, was driving the 2013 International Harvester when the metal became unsecured, flew off the bed of the trailer and struck a 2016 Ford Transit operated by Sandra L. Bachert, 34, of New Ringgold.
Both vehicles came to a controlled stop on the right shoulder. Police said the Transit had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Clipner was cited for improperly securing the load, according to police.
