A solid pitching performance by Owen Moyer helped Franklin Township gain a 6-1 Junior Connie Mack victory over Coplay.

Moyer went all seven innings, allowing just five hits and one run while striking out four.

Jaxson Markell had a hit and two RBIs for the winners. Carter Spotts added a hit, a run and an RBI.

Brock Atwood scored a pair of runs for FT, while Korbin Ahner and Roman White each chipped in with a hit and an RBI.

Korbin Ahner pitched a one-hitter as Franklin Township gained a 5-0 victory over Southern Lehigh in a recent Junior Connie Mack contest.

Ahner, who walked three and struck out four, received early run support as his team posted three runs in the second inning.

Aiden McCarroll had two hits and scored a run for the winners, while Jaxson Markell added a hit, a run and an RBI.

Franklin also received a hit and a run from both Jake Albert and Alex Kish.
