Ames, who allows three walks and strikes out 11, also collects a hit and scores three runs for the Blue Raiders. The winners take the lead for good in the second inning when Bob Davidson, who singled, steals second and third and scores on a throwing error. Rick Jones adds an RBI double later in the frame. Tamaqua clinches the decision with a five-run sixth. Davidson ends with two hits and a pair of runs, while Bill Milot collects two hits and scores a run.
