State police at Lehighton - crashes
State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:
• Zachary J. Druckenmiller, 26, of Paxinos, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 9:22 a.m. March 31 on Mountain Road in Ross Township. He was uninjured in the crash.
Police said he was driving a 2014 Ford Fusion when he under-compensated while negotiating a right curve in the road. The vehicle traveled off the road and hit a tree stump. It was towed from the scene.
• A 17-year-old boy from Palmerton was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 8:27 p.m. March 31 on Laurel Lane, Towamensing Township. He was uninjured in the crash.
Police said he was driving a 2016 Infiniti too fast for wet conditions when he lost control of it while attempting to negotiate a sharp left turn. The Infiniti crashed into a boulder and wire fence.
Police said it had heavy front-end damage and was towed from the scene. They said the wire fence was “completely damaged.”
• Patrick Dowling, 55, of Kunkletown, was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property after a crash at 6:38 a.m. April 8 on the Kunkletown Road in Ross Township. Police said he was uninjured in the incident.
They said he was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer that was involved in the crash with a 2025 Chevrolet, whose owner/operator was not identified by police.
• Belle K. Dickey, 65, of Blakeslee, was after a one-vehicle crash at 9:46 a.m. April 14 on Jonas Road in Polk Township. She was uninjured in the crash.
Police said she was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse southbound when she lost control of it. The vehicle went off the road onto the west berm and hit a tree. It was towed from the scene.
