PSP Lehighton - crashes
State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:
• Hunter Flamish, 24, of Wind Gap, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol following a one-vehicle crash on March 16.
The crash happened at along Chestnut Ridge Drive, Eldred Township. Flamish was driving a 2012 Volkswagen. Police did not provide any other details.
• Lala Imanova, 31, of Nazareth, and Maryann Kreciewski, 52, and Elizabeth Thoms, 84, both of Effort, had minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 1:59 p.m. March 23 on Burger Hollow Road, Polk Township.
Police said they were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg.
They said the crash happened when Imanova, driving a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander, “ran a stop sign” and was struck by a 2023 Subaru Legacy driven by Kreciewski.
Thoms was a passenger in the Legacy.
Police said Imanova was cited for “stop signs and yield signs.”
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:50 p.m. March 25 at the intersection of Meixsell Valley and Rolling Hills roads in Ross Township.
Police said Beverly R. Mosteller, 75, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2016 Honda northwest on Rolling Hills Road when it proceeded into the intersection without proper clearance and struck a 1999 Ford Ranger driven westbound on Meixsell Valley Road.
The Honda was able to be driven while the Ranger required towing.
Mosteller was cited for “duties at a stop sign.”
• Injuries were averted in a two-vehicle crash at 12:10 p.m. March 26 at the intersection of Scenic Drive and the Jonas Road in Polk Township.
Police said Chad A. Hunter, 38, of Bangor, driving a 2008 GMC, proceeded through an intersection before the intersection was clear. The GMC was struck by a 2019 Nissan Rogue operated by a 16-year-old girl from Kunkletown.
The GMC had no visible damage while the Rogue required towing.
Hunter was cited for “obedience to a traffic control device.”
• Tiffanie L. McMillan, 48, of Hamden, Connecticut, wad cited for accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle or property after a crash at 5:25 a.m. March 27 on Route 115 in Ross Township.
Police did not provide the details of the incident except to identify the second driver as Heidi A. Judge, 30, of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, who was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier.
McMillan was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox.
