State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:
• Two people were injured in a chain-reaction crash involving four vehicles at 2:07 p.m. April 9 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.
Police said Amanda R. Spitzer, 35, of Lehighton, was transported by personnel from the West End Community Ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg, while Kelsey G. Simms, 28, of Easton, was taken to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Monroe Campus, Stroudsburg, by the same ambulance corps.
Police said the severity of their injuries in unknown.
They said the crash occurred when Spitzer was driving a 2017 Subaru Outback northbound and it struck the rear of a 2022 Chrysler Voyager driven by Ziekeya S. Rollins, 26, of Easton.
Police said Simms was a passenger in the Voyager, as were four others, who were uninjured.
The Voyager and two other vehicles, a 2021 Ford Transit driven by Jessica L. Hatesaul, 45, of Mount Bethel, and a 2019 Subaru Impreza driven by Patricia Morales, 52, of Long Pond, were stopped in the lane of traffic while Morales was waiting to turn into a parking lot, police said.
They said the Outback struck the Voyager, which hit the Transit, which then hit the Impreza.
Two of the vehicles were towed from the scene.
• Police said two vehicles had minor damage after a crash at 7:08 p.m. April 5 on Route 715 in Jackson Township.
They did not identify the drivers of the vehicles but said a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander “rear-ended” a 2021 Kia Optima that was slowing down due to traffic.
No one was hurt in the incident.
