Coal Cats Café in Tamaqua recently celebrated the adoption of its 100th cat. James and Emily Shaeffer, shown here at left, took home Fawn and Fiona - the 99th and 100th cats to be adopted from the 209 W. Broad St. café where people enjoy beverages and play or cuddle with rescued cats in need of homes. With them are Kim and Ron Chamberlain, Coal Cats Café owners.
