The public libraries of Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe and Northampton counties announce the formation of the Multi-District Lehigh Valley Pocono Library Partnership.

The 20 public libraries are directly sharing resources, such as books, DVDs, CDs, and other library materials.

Library patrons will have unprecedented direct access to an incredible number of items - more than 1. 4 million, from 26 library outlets, from across the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos.

This process is made possible by SPARK, the integrated library system, that each library uses for management of their library materials. Patrons can search for items, place holds, and in most cases, will have the item sent to their home library within three business days.
