The Monroe County Commissioners conducted the following business last week:
• Certificate to Jordan Smalley for earning his Eagle Scout award.
• Sheriff’s Office overtime report for the period ending Feb. 25: deputies, 15.75 hours; and security, 29.75.
• Acknowledged resignation of Michael Albert from the Carbon-Monroe-Pike Mental Health/Developmental Services Advisory Board.
• Reappointed Dr. Damary Bonilla-Rodriquez and Donna Watson to the Children and Youth Services: with a term to expire Oct. 31, 2026; and acknowledge resignation of Carrie Weitz from the advisory board.
• Ratify the budget adjustment report dated Feb. 20 totaling $6,717,732; and approve the budget adjustment report dated Feb. 29 totaling $34,245.
• Amended agreement with Kudu Creative increasing contract total to an amount not to exceed $413,467 for a period through Dec. 31, for a Fentanyl Awareness Campaign in Monroe County, paid from Opioid Settlement Funding.
• Renewal agreement with Guardian RFID for inmate management, monitoring and tracking at rates at $3,500 per year) through Dec. 31, 2027.
•: Reappointed Andrew Forte to a new term on the Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Railroad Authority to expire on Jan. 31, 2029.
• Acknowledge receipt of the Justice Court Judges Commission Juvenile Probations Services Grant Award in the amount of $96,795.00 for the grant period July 1, 2023 through June 30.
