Lehighton Borough Council on a 5-0 vote at a special meeting on Thursday agreed to appoint/reappoint the following borough officials:

• Dane DeWire, borough manager.

• Brenda Kreitz, borough secretary. Councilman John Kreitz abstained.

• Cathy Smith, treasurer.

• Kim Rubin, assistant secretary/treasurer.

• Lonny Armbruster, L & P Supervisor.

• Barry Fisher, Assistant L & P Supervisor.

• Kris Kunkle, Public Works Supervisor.

• Jeffrey Smith, Assistant Public Works Supervisor.

• Tom Evans, recreation director.

• Joe Flickinger, emergency management coordinator.

• James R. Nanovic, solicitor.

• Berkheimer – tax collector for earned income tax & local service tax.

• Barry Isett & Associates, zoning/code enforcement officer and BCO.

• Patrick Mriss, fire chief.

• Michael Mriss, assistant fire chief.

• Troy Abelovsky, police chief. Councilwoman Autumn Abelovsky abstained.

• Karen Reichard, police administrative manager.

• Times News, official public notification.

• System Design Engineers, sewage enforcement officers.

However, council tabled the following until next month’s meeting:

• Barry Isett, health officer.
