Holiday hours for the Lansford Borough Office, 1 W. Ridge St., will be as follows: 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, closed Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday. The office will be closed News Year's Day.

Normal office hours are weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please use the tax office entrance while the handicap ramp and steps are under construction.The tax office will be closed Christmas and New Year's Day. Otherwise it will be open as noted on the tax bill.The Park & Recreation committee and Ordinance & Zoning committee of Lansford Borough Council will not meet on Dec. 31 as regularly scheduled, due to it falling on the New Year's Eve holiday.Residents are reminded that the deadline for payment of the 2014 sewage transmission fee is Dec. 31. The 2015 fee will be mailed on Feb. 15. Anyone with questions about their sewage transmission bill may call the borough office at 570-645-3900.
