An application for medical offices is among a pair of requests set to be reviewed by the Lehighton Zoning Hearing Board.

The application from Blakeslee Commons LLC, 2216 Willow Park Road, Bethlehem, will be revisited when the zoning board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday.Blakeslee Commons has requested a special exception from a section of the borough zoning ordinance that pertains to special uses as the property at Ninth and Bridge streets is located in an industrial zoning district.The matter originally went before the zoners in September, at which time the board made a recommendation to turn the request over to the borough's planning commission for its review.Also on Thursday, the board is scheduled to review an application from Melo Enterprises LLC, 870 West Stagecoach Road, Lehighton.At that time, the applicant will request variances from a section of the borough zoning ordinance regarding minimum lot width and minimum side yard.The property is located at Ninth and Bridge streets in an industrial zoning district.
