Registration forms are available at numerous locations for the 44th annual Lehighton Halloween Parade.

The parade will be held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 18. The rain date is 2 p.m. on Oct. 19.Registration forms can be picked up at Carbon County Music and More, Larry Markley Insurance, the Lehighton branch of Jim Thorpe National Bank, Dance With Kim, Lehighton Borough Building, and Zimmerman's Dairy.The deadline for entries is Oct. 9.Donations can be sent to Lehighton Area Halloween Parade Committee, P.O. Box 241, Lehighton, PA 18235.Julie Harris, parade chairman, said the route will be the same as in previous years.She said, "we are looking for food vendors to be stationary during the parade. For more information, please call 610-377-2363 after 6 p.m."Registration and division assignments will be held at Ninth and Coal streets on the day of the parade starting at 2 p.m.You must have a representative of your group register to be eligible for a prize.All tractor-trailer floats must be in line by 3 p.m. If the rain date is needed, tractor-trailers must be in line by 1 p.m.
